Principal’s Message – November 29th
Dear Herbert Spencer School Community!
Thank you for your participation in last nights First Light Celebration! It was great to see so many from our community out to bring in the holiday season! A special thank you to our amazing PAC for organizing such a great event and Ms Tamara Nemeth and the Herbert Spencer Choir!

5 Days of Giving
We are holding a 5 Days of Giving event from Monday, December 9th to Friday, December 13th. We will be collecting donations in the foyer and online in Support of the New Westminster Purpose Society. The event is broken into 5 days to highlight the specific items families need most. Items can be dropped off in the Foyer each day of the event and donations can also be made online through School Cash. Please watch for the daily reminders for the highlighted items.

Spencer Drumming!
Rhythm Resource is back at Herbert Spencer December 2nd to December 13th! Students in Divisions 1 – 11 will participate in Week 1 (Dec 2 to 6) and students in Div 12 – 23 will participate in Week 2 (Dec 9 -13). Both weeks will culminate in a performance on the Friday at 1:30 PM, that families will be able to attend. More details regarding performances will be communicated next week, closer to the day. Reporting
Staff are hard at work preparing student progress reports. Due to our network outage this week there is the potential that these will be delayed as staff have been unable to input the information. Original date to publish reports to the parent portal is December 13th. The school will update families once they are certain they will be able to meet that date or need to delay to the following week.
