Principal’s Message – September 8th
Dear École Herbert Spencer Community,
Welcome Back once again! Our startup last week was smooth for staff and students and we hope it has been the same for our families! This is the first of my weekly Principal’s Messages for the 2025-26 school year. In these communications I will typically provide some weekly highlights, important information, upcoming dates/events, community happenings, useful links and finally a longer running events calendar that looks out a month or so ahead.
We welcomed the newest members of our School Community on Friday, and our Kinder’s continue their gradual entry as the week continues. Kindergarteners will be full time as of September 15th.
Save the Date! – On Thursday, September 25th we will hold our annual Meet the Teacher Open House from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. Our doors will be open to all and we encourage parents to stop by and meet their child’s teacher and see their classroom!

Fall After School Programs!
Sports of All Sorts, Soccer Shots, Brick Builders and STEM Builders (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Programs are available this Fall starting in late September and October. Please see the linked brochure below for more information and how to register. Please pay close attention to the Grade level offered for each individual program. These will fill up fast – don’t delay!
*Students will be dismissed directly to each program from their classrooms afterschool. Parents need to ensure that they are on time for pick up after the program is complete.
