Dear École Herbert Spencer Community,

Our Performing Arts Club Carolers were busy this week! Ms Ranford organized Groups of Singers to visit classes and the playground at lunch and share some cheer!
5 Days of Giving!
The 5 Days of Giving begins next week! Division 6’s Eager Elves will be in the foyer at morning bell to accept all donations.
Our first themed giving day on Monday, December 8th — is all things BABIES! Think wipes, diapers, formula …
Here is how it all works:
Students/Families bring donations in each day to the foyer where our Elves will be on hand to show our appreciation, collect and sort items.
The themed days are as follows:
Monday, December 8th – All thing Babies – Diapers, Wipes, Baby Food, Formula …
Tuesday, December 9th – Loonies and Toonies – An Online Donation Link will also be made available
Wednesday, December 10th – Toiletries – Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Shampoo, Soap …
Thursday, December 11th – Food Bank – Non-perishable Food Items
Friday, December 12th – Final Call for All – Final Day to bring any and all items, all donations are picked up on this day
The days are themed to highlight the specific needs families have most and help us support them in the best way possible! Your contributions make a real difference in the lives of local families. Thank you for supporting this initiative and helping us spread kindness during the holiday season!
Late French Immersion
On Monday this week LFI students and staff from Glenbrook visited our school to share their experiences with Late French Immersion with our Grade 5 English students. Our students had the opportunity to learn more about the program and hear first hand from current LFI students what they love about it, and what students could expect.
