Principal’s Message – February 27th
Dear École Herbert Spencer Community,
We have had another busy week as we head into an even busier March! Up next week is Le Petits Chefs for our French Immersion students on Monday and Tuesday, Mike’s Critters for our Kindergarteners on Tuesday, our Grade 5 Cosom Hockey Tournament on Wednesday at Fraser River Middle School and in the final week before break we have Axe Capoeira for our Grade 3 and 4 students. All events supported by our Amazing PAC – which is … YOU! We so appreciate all your support throughout the year bringing activities and resources to our school community!
We have had quite a few cases of head lice reported in recent weeks, please take some time this weekend to check your children carefully and ensure they are lice free. Fraser Health offers excellent information on the detection, prevention and treatment of head lice.

Pink Shirt Day!
Our student Assembly Leaders did an amazing job! Thank you to Ms Ranford for organizing another fantastic school assembly!
Hoop Shoot!
Students wrapped up with our final Hoop Shoot day today. Huge thanks to Mme Ellett, Ms Neufeld and Ms Thomas for bringing this awesome activity to our students! Students really improved their skills and it all culminated in a final competition this morning. Congrats to our top 3 teams!
Science World!
Div 2 and 3 had a great trip to Science World this Week!
