Principal’s Message – October 30th
Dear École Herbert Spencer Community,
HALLOWEEN HOWL!! ~ A Message from your PAC!
On behalf of the PAC, I want to express how incredibly grateful we are for the many people who helped make this year’s Halloween Howl such a huge success!
To every volunteer and every adult who showed up with a child to participate — thank you! Whether you contributed goodies to the Spooky Halloween Cake Walk, helped organize the donation of hundreds of pumpkins for the craft room, volunteered your time throughout the event, or pitched in with setup and takedown, it truly takes a village!
Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces is what makes all the effort worthwhile. Thank you for being part of it!
A special shout-out to our in-house DJ, Kim, who spent her entire afternoon and evening setting up and running the dance, alongside her devoted sidekick. We appreciate you both!
A big thank you to Paul, Erin, and the rest of our admin and teaching staff who jumped in to help pull it all together. We see you staying late, pitching in wherever needed, and doing it all with a smile. It doesn’t go unnoticed!
And lastly, together our community raised $610 for the Food Bank, helping support local families in need! Go Spencer Go!

*Picture Retakes – Please let your classroom teacher and the school office (spencer@sd40.bc.ca) know if your child needs retakes. To make the process smooth and efficient students should bring the proof/picture card they were given with the QR Code. Not to worry if you can’t locate this, we can support. Students will be called down for retakes the morning of November 13th!
