Spring Fun Lunches

Spring Term Fun Lunches Are Open!

PAC parent volunteers are excited to offer Fun Lunches—a student favorite every other Friday! Hot lunches from local New Westminster restaurants are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting École Herbert Spencer Elementary. These funds help cover things like bus rentals, field trips, guest performers, sports equipment, classroom supplies, furniture, and more.

Spring Fun Lunch Schedule

  • Fri April 24 – Papa John’s Pizza  (order by Thu April 17)
  • Fri May 8 – McDonald’s & Woomi Sushi (order by Thu May 1)
  • Fri May 22 – Papa John’s Pizza  (order by Thu May 15)
  • Fri June 5 – McDonald’s & Woomi Sushi (order by Thu May 29)
  • Fri June 19 – Sports Day – Hot Dog Day (order by Thu June 12)

 

Orders close at 11:59 pm, 8 days before each Fun Lunch date.

The first Fun Lunch this term is Friday, April 24th—don’t miss it! Place your order before midnight Thursday, April 17, 2026.

How to Order

  • New parents: Register your family account at https://munchalunch.com/schools/HerbertSpencer/
  • Returning parents: Log in and update your child’s classroom info before placing an order.
  • New to Spencer but have a Munchalunch account? Just update the school in your profile.
  • Payment: online, cash, or cheque. 
  • Subsidies available by contacting Principal P. Manville (pmanville@sd40.bc.ca).
  • Need help? Email spencerfunlunch@gmail.com

Important Reminders

  • If your child is away, you may pick up their lunch—call the office before 10 am to arrange it being set aside. Pick-up window: 12–1 pm. (Food cannot be kept past 1 pm)
  • Sorry, no refunds.
  • Please send cutlery when needed—none will be provided.
